Ateş: Pet Yakmak

You reach out your hand to pet Yakmak. He has always been there for you. After all, he chose to be your companion when you were first lit. You often find comfort in Yakmak's warm coat of fire, especially during your father's many tirades. His name comes from one of the many words in your language related to fire. His name is short for the fuller word, Yakmamak, a verb meaning "to burn". Yakmak will always burn, and always has. Your name on the other hand, comes from yet another word in your language meaning fire. Words have special meaning in your culture. They carry a significant meaning and breadth that other kingdoms don't have. In Authoria, the prime rumor stands that their words are merely titles. It makes sense though, sense they are devoted to advancement and place little emphasis on the names. In Ventus, words are especially powerful. They have developed a clever system in which words are used to do common tasks, like open doors and lower platforms. Words have meaning, but are significantly more imperative. In Atlania, words are expendable. They've probably used the word "Atlania" at least a million times in naming their bubble-states. Their warrior culture takes higher importance. You don't care too much for the other kingdoms, but you certainly respect the border laws set in place many suns ago.
