You back up as far as you can, until you get as close as you can to the ice-spike border that separates Authoria and Infernorum. Any closer, and the border would melt, letting everyone know that you passed through and broke the treaty. Your only other route of escape would be through the water, and you know for a fact that that passage is off limits, as it would snuff out your flame.
